An analysis of revisions in the texts of "An Imaginative Woman," the manuscript of which Hardy presented to Aberdeen University Library in 1911. A print version of this study appeared as "'An Imaginative Woman': From Manuscript to Wessex Edition" in the Thomas Hardy Journal, 9:3 (October 1993), 76-83. COMMENT:

A scholarly study that includes speculations about the influence Hardy's relationship with Florence Henniker had on the writing of "An Imaginative Woman."
